High-tech meets classic sports car feel: the Porsche Advanced Cockpit.
The Porsche Advanced Cockpit control concept is progressive: the ascending center console allows the driver to have all the controls at their fingertips. Its Direct Touch Control features an interface in glass look with touch-sensitive buttons for direct access to the most important functions. The high-resolution 10.9-inch touchscreen display is integrated into the dashboard.

The design of the centrally positioned tachometer was derived from the iconic 911. The new steering wheels deliver perfect control and tactility, and allow manual shifting via gearshift paddles.

Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
The standard 7-speed PDK ensures extremely fast gear changes in automatic mode without interrupting the flow of power. Do you prefer to change gear manually? That's not a problem with the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel.
Chassis
The active all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) with electronically controlled multi-plate clutch provides a fully variable distribution of drive force between the drive axles. For high traction, agile performance and safety, even in adverse conditions.
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is an electronic active damping control system. It regulates the damping force based on current road conditions and driving style. Through three programs - 'Normal', 'Sport' and 'Sport Plus' - you gain noticeably in comfort or driving dynamics depending on the driving situation.
In off-road mode, all relevant systems switch to a traction-oriented terrain program. As a result, your Macan adapts optimally to off-road use, improving drivability and safety on loose surfaces.
